Chwi frodyr a chwiorydd

(Cofio Cariad Crist)
Chwi frodyr a chwiorydd,
  O'r gwir freninol had,
Ni gofiwn gariad Iesu,
  Ni ganwn am ei wa'd;
Ein llygaid fyddo'n ddagrau,
  A'n calon, aed yn friw,
Wrth gofio grym ei gariad,
  Fu farw in' gael byw.

Mae'n nefoedd ar y ddaear,
  Yr ochor hyn 'r bedd,
Wrth wel'd ein Priod Iesu
  Yn benaf yn y wledd;
Wrth brofi grym ei gariad,
  Nis gallwn fod yn fud,
Mae gofid yn ein calon
  Am ini dewi c'yd.

Wel, dyma wledd arbenig,
  Mae gwedi'i dwyfol drin,
Ond mae ar fynydd Seion
  Gan mil melysach gwîn;
Mae yma weithiau'n treio,
  Ac weithiau'n llawn-fôr glas;
Nid oes tu draw'r Iorddonen
  Ddim trai ar foroedd gras.

(Remembering the Love of Christ)
Ye brothers and sisters,
  Of the true royal seed,
We who remember the love of Jesus,
  We who sing about his blood;
May our eyes be tears,
  And our heart, let it be broken,
While remembering the force of his love,
  Who died for us to get to live.

It is heaven on the earth,
  This side of the grave,
On seeing our Bridegroom Jeus
  Chiefly in the feast;
On tasting the force of his love,
  We cannot be mute,
There is grief in our heart
  For our being silent for so long.

See, here is the special feast,
  It has had divine treatment,
But there is on mount Zion
  A hundred thousand times sweeter wine;
Here sometimes we have trials,
  And sometimes a blue oceaan;
There is beyond the Jordan
  No ebb on the seas of grace.
